Kemo’s participation in World Food Istanbul 2025 was an opportunity to showcase the brand’s vibrant and youth-oriented identity on an international scale. With a focus on experience-driven design principles, Platin created a booth that aligned with Kemo’s visual language, aiming to both attract B2B audiences and enhance physical and digital engagement.
The project faced challenges such as the booth’s remote location and the urgent need to introduce new products. However, through an interactive design—including a photo area and a mirror installation—along with the seamless production of printed materials and professional content coverage, the project successfully achieved its goals.
Simultaneously, influencer activation and a digital campaign led to 33% follower growth and over 400,000 impressions on Instagram, further cementing Platin’s role as a leader in “exhibition and event design and execution.”
Kemo is a Turkish brand specializing in cakes and pastries, known for its cheerful, youth-oriented, and modern approach. Drawing inspiration from Turkish culture and lifestyle, the brand creates sweet, accessible moments for the younger generation.
Its packaging design and visual identity, built around vibrant and creative colors, perfectly reflect this lively and contemporary spirit.
The partnership between Kemo and Platin Agency began at the very start of the brand’s activities. Their first joint project was at AF Istanbul, where Platin’s booth design and execution successfully introduced Kemo’s visual identity.
Following the success of that project, Kemo entrusted Platin once again for World Food Istanbul 2025, aiming to present its dynamic and youth-centric message on a much larger, international stage.

One of the main challenges at World Food Istanbul 2025 was the booth’s location. Positioned in a relatively remote area of the hall, foot traffic was naturally lower.
The design, therefore, needed to capture attention from a distance, drawing visitors toward the booth.
As a brand with a cheerful and energetic personality, the booth had to fully reflect Kemo’s spirit.
Colors, shapes, and visual elements were carefully selected to create a lively atmosphere that offered visitors a unique and memorable experience.
Another challenge was the tight timeline for preparing printed materials and launching new products.
Some packaging and related designs were finalized only days before the event, requiring precise coordination and rapid execution to ensure the booth was fully ready for a professional debut.

A key objective was to visually express Kemo’s energetic and youthful character.
Bright, playful colors and dynamic shapes were integrated into the booth’s design to immediately convey this energy and make the booth stand out in the exhibition hall.
Given the popularity of the photo area at the previous exhibition, this feature was brought back.
It provided visitors with a space to take memorable photos and share them on social media, boosting both in-person engagement and digital visibility.
To create a unique experience, an interactive mirror element was introduced, decorated with Kemo-themed emojis.
This playful touch encouraged visitors to take fun photos, significantly increasing dwell time and enhancing their emotional connection to the brand.
In addition to booth design, Platin handled the design and production of marketing materials, including:
Item | Purpose | Special Feature |
| Catalog & Brochure | Product introduction | Bilingual (Turkish/English) |
| Mugs & Cups | Visitor giveaways | Matched brand identity |
| Gift Boxes | Interaction & memorabilia | Contained product samples |
These items were all aligned with Kemo’s visual identity, ensuring a consistent brand experience.

To meet exhibition standards and deadlines, Platin partnered with a local Istanbul vendor, ensuring high-quality booth construction delivered on schedule.

Since the primary audience consisted of B2B professionals, the booth design focused on simplicity and functionality rather than excessive luxury.
This approach encouraged visitors to easily enter the booth, explore the products, and engage in meaningful business conversations.
A bold decision was made to remove the VIP area, emphasizing that every visitor matters equally to Kemo.
Instead, more seating areas were added to ensure no visitor had to wait for meetings or discussions.

To document and share the event, Platin deployed two content teams:
This mix of formal and casual content helped narrate the booth experience in a way that resonated both professionally and authentically.
To expand Kemo’s digital reach, Platin invited popular Turkish influencers to visit the booth and share their experiences:
The digital strategy had a significant impact on brand awareness:
World Food Istanbul 2025 provided Kemo with the perfect platform to launch three new products, one of which was revealed for the first time at the exhibition.
The products were displayed on custom-designed stands, aligned with the brand’s visual identity, allowing visitors to taste and experience them directly.
This section became a central hub for B2B engagement, showcasing Kemo’s innovative capabilities.
A key challenge was preparing packaging designs for the new products under an extremely limited timeline.
Final files were completed just days before the event, requiring seamless coordination between design and production teams.
Despite the pressure, the packaging was produced on time and to a high standard, ensuring a flawless launch.
Kemo’s participation in World Food Istanbul 2025 went beyond a simple trade show presence. It became a pivotal moment for international growth and brand positioning.
This project demonstrated how strategic booth design and execution can serve as a powerful tool for brand storytelling and audience engagement.
Kemo’s presence at World Food Istanbul 2025 highlighted the transformative potential of creative design, precise execution, and digital activation.
